SA’s beauty queen and reigning Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi, along with Nicki Teplitz, were the hosts for this year’s National Costume Show at the Miss Universe pageant.

Zozitunzi shared the news about the meal with her fans on Instagram, writing, “I had the most amazing time last night co-hosting the National Costume Show.

Actually I did the whole thing, @nickinnashville just stood there and did a great job (kidding, not kidding. It’s all love) Hope you guys had the best time.

Can’t wait to see you all at the prelims and finals night.”

However, many of her followers were not happy with the way she rushed the contestants to the stage and voiced their displeasure in the comments.

Guatebellezas wrote, “You took away the contestants’ time, they didn’t have any kind of coordination, no doubt Miss Grand taught you a lesson on how to do a national costume presentation.”

In her response, Guatebellezas clarified that the timing of the show was not up to her.

She wrote, “First of all, the timing of the show is not up to the hosts, so please, if you’re going to pounce on someone, at least justify it with concrete facts so as not to embarrass yourself. Some people here have communicated their feelings in a classy way too. I understand your frustration, but if you want to show up in my feed, make sure you don’t attack me from the side.

“Do it with kindness and intelligence. I see you’ve left a few other distasteful comments here and if you’re used to bullying people, you’re in the wrong place. We don’t do that kind of thing here. Go and gather your words properly and when you are ready to have an actual constructive conversation, come back. Have a good time.”
