The gift of children is a blessing for parents, and all parents desire children when the time is right.
But we have seen cases where God has blessed some people with children, and these people still go so far as to adopt just to reach out to children who have lost their parents or in other ways.
Some Nigerian actors, musicians and politicians have gone out of their way to help children who are unable to take care of themselves.
In today’s article, we feature 5 Nigerian celebrities who have participated in this adoption and helped some children have a better life as best they could.
Let’s take a look at them below.
1. Williams Uchemba
Popular Nollywood actor Williams Uchemba, who is also a comedian, adopted an 18-year-old teenager named Demola.
One of the reasons that made Williams Uchemba adopt Demola was his intelligence.
The actor had adopted the boy with the aim of changing his life for the better by enrolling him in a good school along with other wealthy children.
Below are photos of Williams and his adopted child chilling and having fun together.
2. Opeyemi Aiyeola
Popular Yoruba film actress Opeyemi Aiyeola adopted a female child in addition to her two sons.
She was overjoyed and thanked her husband who supported her in the adoption.
3. Flavor N’abania
Nigerian producer and music artist Chinedu Okoli, known as Flavour N’abania, has adopted a male child whose physical disability is blindness.
Flavor managed to turn this poor boy’s life into something beautiful and admirable if others would see him now. See photos of Flavor and Semah below.
4. Governor Hope Uzodimma
Imo State Governor Hope Odidika Uzodimma has also adopted a 9-year-old boy named Joseph Oluomachi Opara after videos of this poor boy singing hymns went viral on the internet.
The little boy, who used to sell pears and coconuts, now attends a good school and lives a comfortable life after meeting the governor. See photos of Joseph and the governor below.
5. Susan Peters
The last item on my list is the popular Nollywood actress Susan Peters. Four years after her marriage to her husband who had no fruit in the w**b, Susan Peters adopted a male child named Oche.
If you look closely at the photos below, you can see that Susan is really taking good care of Oche as if he was her biological son.
These Nigerian celebrities made a wise decision to adopt these children and give them a proper life because they believe there is a blessing associated with it.
