Member of scorpion kings and pioneer of Amapiano music genre DJ Maphorisa has been accused of being a fraudster by a record label owner called Letty Mncube.

The famous DJ promised Letty to do some PR job for two of his artists, failed to deliver on his promise after getting paid.

According to the Daily Suns, Letty contacted them in order to get Maphorisa pay the R3500 he is owing him.

During their negotiating stage, Letty revealed that Maphorisa charged him R48,000 to help his new artist gain fame through promoting their songs on his social media platforms and also inviting them for his gigs.

Letty though made it clear she couldn’t afford to pay all the money to Maphorisa at once so she and the DJ agreed to o a deposit of R1 500. After paying the deposit, she then paid instalments which amounted to R3 500.

“I ended up paying R3 500. I became suspicious when he failed to post my artists on his social media page. On the day we were supposed to meet he didn’t pick up my calls,” she told the publication.
