Unathi Nkayi loves the limelight, as she has proven many times.

No matter how low she falls, the entertainer always finds a way to get back to the top.

Unathi Nkayi is ready to host a new radio show after recently being fired from a show she had held for years.

On Instagram, Unathi Nkayi announced that she will be back on the radio as the host of a drive-home show. In her own words, the former Idols SA judge said that:

Guyzini, it seems like this radio thing won’t let me go because as of March 1, you know what I’m going to do? I’m going to drive you home. Excuse me?! 3 to 6 driving time on March 1. I’ll see you there.

The presenter has been making many headlines lately, and most of them are bad ones. It all started when she accused her co-worker Sizwe Dlomo of GBV, and then it turned out that she was being recorded. After a surprising turn of events, Unathi was relieved of Kaya 959. After that, Nkayi lost her next job as the GQ South Africa Awards host.

Many social media users had a lot to say about the presenter, as some called for cancel culture. They felt that had Unathi not been investigated, an innocent man would have lost his job or ended up in jail. Some South Africans called for her to be cancelled in the entertainment scene.

As if fate had it, it was announced that Unathi Nkayi would not be part of the panel of Idols SA, where she has been sitting for many seasons. The show was threatened with cancellation as people said that it had become boring. So the showrunners had to find a way to introduce new things. With all these things not going well for Unathi, she has found a light at the end of the tunnel.

Fans and other celebrities were congratulating the presenter and radio host on her new job in her comment section.
