MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMA) which was to held in Kampala, Uganda on 20 February 2021 is unlikely to happen as it has been postponed till further notice.
However, the highly anticipated event won’t hold on the expected date, and no official reason has been given for such change.
Media blogger, Kgopolo Mphela confirmed in his tweet that, the reason behind the postponement is due to political unrest in Uganda.
