On Monday, February 1, Yoruba rights activist Sunday Adeyemo alias Sunday Igboho landed in Ogun State after declaring war on the deadly herdsmen in the state.
He arrived Abeokuta around 4 pm to speak with some of his supporters.
He later went to Ketuland where some soldiers were said to have conspired with the herdsmen to beat farmers who did not allow them to graze their cattle in Yewa-North LGA.
“I observe that there is injustice on the part of the herdsmen because they know the power they have in the Federal Government.
“They behave as if the Yoruba are nobody. They k**l our people, they kidnap our people and they r**e our women.
“Any herdsman who engages in kidnapping will be thrown out.
“We will not only visit Igangan but the whole of Yorubaland and ensure that there is peace everywhere.”
“We are yet to visit the governor, we will do that after we drive the Fulani herdsmen out of the state.
“I am going to Yewa because that is where the Fulani are up to mischief.”
