Time is running out for Luke Ntombela, the artist who made allegations against DJ Tira, accusing him of sexual assault and unpaid debts.
On Monday last week, Ntombela received a cease and desist letter from DJ Tira’s lawyers asking him to stop damaging his client’s reputation and brand. Ntombela had better hurry up and respond to the letter before time runs out, ZiMoja said.
“Our instructions are that the withdrawal must be made within seven days from the date of this letter. Otherwise, our clients will have no choice but to take legal action against your unlawful conduct in order to protect our client’s brand,” the letter states.
In the classic story of an underdog taking on a titan, David (aka Luke Ntombela) has stepped into the ring against Goliath (aka DJ Tira).
This showdown was triggered by Luke’s cleverly staged videos and social media posts, which refer to an alleged incident in which her former boss allegedly sexually assaulted her and drugged her without her consent.
DJ Tira, however, insists that she should apologize to him.

DJ Tira told Zimoja that he believes Ntombela is being used to destroy him and his brand. “I don’t know who she is working with and what her plan is. But I will not stand by and watch someone destroy my brand that I have worked hard for,” he said. Instead of apologizing, Ntombela posted more messages last week demanding further answers.
On Friday, she wrote on her Facebook timeline, “Did you see how I was insulted? and that’s the least of my worries right now. I’m crying out for closure and healing so I can get on with life.”
Ntombela, who was part of Clash of the Choirs at one point in her career, said, “The things that bother me about you are two: 1. I declare the damage you have done to me, but all you seem to care about is your brand. (You know it was never my intention to damage your brand) 2. even when I tell you I don’t want anything from you, you don’t explain it to me, you don’t listen to me…. I am crying out for closure and healing to move on with life.
Ntombela shared more screenshots of her conversations with DJ Tira. Ntombela assured Zimoja that she will comment on the allegations against DJ Tira in due course.
