A popular Yoruba rights activist, Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Igboho, has narrated his encounter with a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu.

He spoke in an Instagram Live chat with noted journalist, Dele Momodu on Tuesday 26th, January 2021.

According to Igboho, he met Tinubu during preparations for a governorship election in Ondo State involving a former governor of the state, Olusegun Mimiko.

He said a former governor of Oyo State, Rasheed Ladoja, told him that Tinubu asked to see him at his Bourdillon residence in Lagos.

Igboho said he travelled to Lagos and met with Tinubu, who persuaded him not to support the Peoples Democratic Party in the election because the party had ousted Ladoja as governor of Oyo State in 2006.

The activist revealed that Tinubu gave him a sum of N2m to refuel his vehicle back to his base.

Igboho also said that he never made his money from thuggery, adding that he is a businessman and he deals in cars.
