Zoleka Mandela is preparing for her death, months after being diagnosed with terminal cancer.

The businesswoman has been keeping her followers updated on the results and how she is dealing with the disease, and has created a YouTube channel for that purpose.

In an interview with Phemelo Motene on Kaya FM’s Point of View, Zoleka says she is preparing for her death and the afterlife, especially for her children.

“It probably sounds strange, but I am in a phase of panic. I think I’m blessed and fortunate to be in a position where I’m in the planning phase. I’m having conversations with my loved ones, my attorney, my therapist and my siblings to discuss what will happen on the day and after I pass away.”

“I am encouraged by knowing that tomorrow is a new day. I have learned to come to terms with my eventuality. I live in such a way that I am content with life despite the expected death. I am constantly reviewing different facets of my life, my relationships, priorities and goals. I’m able to have a say, especially with my children, because I’m a single parent and I take care of all my children.”

Zoleka says she doesn’t want to bother her siblings after death, hence the arrangements.

Recently, she confirmed that the cancer is now in her hip and liver in addition to her spinal cord.

“There is a lot of pain, every day is different. The form of treatment is different, in this regard, they try a lot to improve my quality of life by reducing the pain. I have bone fractures due to the cancer.”
